Supported Living Services

Justh Supported Living has a range of supported living services to accommodate individual needs. These range from floating support for 5 hours to 31 hours, short breaks or respite and 24 hours of support. We have a dedicated and experienced team who are qualified to offer support to unaccompanied asylum seekers. They offer holistic needs assessments and flexible plans, supporting the young person’s individual needs with the aim of mitigating crisis, improving wellbeing and building resilience to achieve their goals.

At our core we are committed to support young people in our care in developing the skills, knowledge and confidence they need to be able to live independently. All the care plans will reflect individual holistic needs assessments, and for those young people with additional needs we are committed to offer support that reflects their support needs – at either a 1:1 or 2:1 level.

What We Offer

Accommodation - Justh House, 21 Rushton Avenue, WN7 5NB, Leigh, England

Every effort is made to create a warm and homely environment in all our accommodation. All young people accessing our services have the opportunity to have their own personal space, and where they do share accommodation they have a lockable room for privacy. As part of developing independent skills all young people are encouraged to personalise their rooms by gradually buying items which they will take when it is their time to move on.

All of our accommodation is within walking distance of a transport link, to enable young people using our service to be able to access EET opportunities offered in the area. Efforts have also been made to ensure that the accommodation provided is reasonably accessible to people in the young person’s personal support network, health and leisure services and other amenities. This helps them to enhance their social capital, which is vital when they leave our service.

Needs-Led Support

All young people will be allocated a key worker who will work with them to accomplish their assessment needs and plans, which reflect not only the viewpoints, interests and priorities of the individual concerned but also offer detailed conclusions about their readiness for transition into independence. For those who are in long term support, plans are reviewed at least every month or when there is significant change. Every young person within our service will have individual support plans with SMART goals and objectives. These will form the basis for aiding them in the process of developing needed independent skills.
